Every three months, we meet virtually with someone at the heart of the work. A person using cognitive support technology in their daily life, or someone who supports them. No slides, no pitch. Just their story, told in their own words.
Voices from the Field is a storytelling session. Real accounts of what changed, what didn't, what helped and what got in the way. It is deliberately different: less structured, more human, and open to the broadest possible community audience. Each session features a different guest, so every webinar offers a new perspective on what enablement looks and feels like in practice.
This is not a product showcase. Our guests are sharing their experience of their own lives, and what they have to say matters to everyone working in this sector, from occupational therapists and social workers to commissioners and care providers.
Format
Each session opens with 15 minutes of storytelling, led as a conversation with an Abilia host. The floor then opens to the audience, so you can ask your own questions and hear the answers first-hand.

Who should join
Anyone working to enable independence for autistic adults and people with learning disabilities. Occupational therapists, commissioners, care providers, social workers, support workers, families. If you make decisions or recommendations that shape someone's support, this is for you.
Why it matters
