A family member or carer carries the P202 receiver, which receives signals from one or more alarms. Both epilepsy alarms and supervision alarms can be connected to the receiver via the P212 transmitter.
The P202 receiver and P212 transmitter communicate via the Alert-iT Safelink™ radio protocol. This means that an alarm is triggered if the receiver moves out of range.
Alarms are signalled by an audible alert or vibration. Information about the alarm is shown on a backlit display. The receiver can be worn on a strap around the neck or clipped into a trouser pocket.
The P202 receiver has a rechargeable battery with a standby time of up to 40 hours, depending on usage.
