If you have a pay-as-you-go SIM card in your Lightwriter SL40 Connect, you may want to keep a check on your balance in order to make sure you always have enough credit to send a message or make a phone call. If you are having trouble with your phone then it is very quick and simple to check the balance on your SIM card.
Recommended Solution
- From the main menu go to Phone (option 2), then Balance Check (option 3).
- This allows you to see how much credit is left on a pay-as-you-go SIM card. The remaining balance will be displayed.
- When finished, return to the main menu by pressing the Menu (!) key.
Please note - balance check will not work with some contract SIM cards or some pay-as-you-go service providers, and in some instances you may need to make an audio call or send an SMS message to get this information.
