In the Norwegian municipality of Trysil, the film An Easier Everyday Life with Welfare Technology introduces us to Jone, who uses MEMOplanner, a digital cognitive assistive technology solution, to get structure and overview in his day – helping him be more independent.
He also uses the Emfit epileptic seizure alarm, which detects and alerts caregivers in the event of tonic–clonic seizures. It contributes to increased safety for both Jone and the care staff and reduces the need for continuous supervision.
We also get a brief glimpse of Oscar, who uses both MEMOplanner and MEMO Timer. MEMO Timer helps users stay on track with activities and supports concentration.
The film is an inspiring example of how assistive technology can make a real difference in everyday life.
