Compact Rolltalk and Windows 10
Compact Rolltalk will continue to ship with Windows 7. This is to ensure that Compact Rolltalk will keep full functionality for for the users. Compact Rolltalk will not be updated to Windows 10.
In the older model of the Compact Rolltalk, model P240, the ability to update to Windows 10 will be shown with an icon. We ask you not to update these machines! If someone accidentally updates, Abilia can assist with restoring the machine to factory settings for a fee. PLEASE NOTE that the user data and information will be lost if a backup is not made before the machine is reset to factory settings.
Rolltalk Designer and Windows 10
If you use the Rolltalk Designer on your personal PC or tablet, you are free update to Windows 10.
Rolltalk Designer has been tested with Windows 10.
Micro Rolltalk och Windows 10
Micro Rolltalk is running Windows Mobile (which cannot be upgraded to Windows 10). Application transfer with a PC with Windows 10 does not work. Windows 10 does not have Microsoft Mobile Device Center application. And this is needed to transfer files to Windows Mobile (6.5) OS that runs on MicroRolltalk.
Light Rolltalk och Windows 10
Light Rolltalk does not work with Windows 10. We ask you not to update these machines! If you accidentally update your machine, Abilia can assist to restore the machine to factory settings for a fee. Memoplanner & Memoactive
Only MEMOplanners based on the Dell Venue Pro can (if desired) be upgraded to Windows 10. We ask you not to update any of the other MEMOplanner machines to Windows 10. If you accidentally update your machine, Abilia can assist to restore the machine to factory settings for a fee. PLEASE NOTE that the user data and information will be lost if a backup is not made before the machine is reset to factory settings.
MEMOactive is running Windows Mobile and cannot be upgraded to Windows 10. MEMOactive is only to be used with MEMOplanner S525. Therefore you can not upgrade MEMOplanner S525 to Windows 10. Since Windows 10 does not have Microsoft Mobile Device Center that is needed to transfer files.
Others
If a Personal Computer (PC) with eye control is being upgraded to Windows 10, the eye tracking application (Intelligaze) must be upgraded to version 4.
