Repairs Procedure

Guidelines for how to return your device to us for repair

If you are unable to fix your device yourself after following the Troubleshooting directions, then it is time to send your device in to be repaired.

We ask that you only send your device in on the recommendation of one of our Service Technicians. Our goal is to minimise the time you are without your device. We may be able to help you fix it over the phone/email and save you postage and repair costs. We understand how important and necessary it is for you to have your device back with you as soon as possible.

  1. If you haven't already spoken to one of our Service Technicians,
    call 01954 281 222  or email us.
  2. It is very important to make a note of the Serial Number on the base of your device before you send it to us. We will use this as a reference number to identify your machine.

If you want us to arrange a collection:

There will be a cost of £18 (there may not be a cost if your device is under warranty). Please contact us by calling 01954 281 222 or email us

We will need to know:

  1. Details about the problem
  2. Pickup address and convenient times/dates for pickup.
  3. Your name and phone number/ email of somebody who we can contact regarding the repair
  4. The serial number of your Device
  5. Phone number/ email of somebody who we can contact regarding the repair
  6. Who to invoice for the repair
  7. Vat information:
    a) If you are VAT registered (ie. a business, hospital or PCT) you will need to send a purchase order from your purchasing dept
    b) If you are an individual or charity you will need to send us a VAT exemption form (or download pdf below).
  8. Send your Device and charger in it’s original box if possible. If not, you can wrap it in paper or bubble wrap, then put it in a box such as a shoebox.
  9. Securely tape it up and address it to: Abilia Ltd, Unit 12 Buckingway Business Park, Anderson Road, Swavesey, Cambridge CB24 4AE
  10. Await collection as arranged

If you want to post it or deliver it yourself:

  1. Send your Device and charger in it’s original box if possible. If not, you can wrap it in paper or bubble wrap, then put it in a box such as a shoebox.
  2. Please add a note inside the box which tells us:
    a) Your name
    b) The serial number of your Device
    c) Details about the problem
    d) The address of where we should return your Device
    e) Phone number/ email of somebody who we can contact regarding the repair
    f) Who to invoice for the repair
  3. Vat information:
    a) If you are VAT registered (ie. a business, hospital or PCT) you will need to send a purchase order from your purchasing dept
    b) If you are an individual or charity you will need to send us a VAT exemption form (or download pdf below).
  4. Securely tape it up and address it to: Repairs Department, Abilia Ltd, Unit 12 Buckingway Business Park, Anderson Road, Swavesey, Cambridge CB24 4AE
  5. Take it to the Post Office and make sure that you get a receipt/proof of posting.
